Lumion SP2 Build 8 Released

Hi, I created a scene and made a longer flythough with continuous clip captures, Now when I animate the people, they just walks out of the scene, even walks on top of the sea. Is there a way we can start animation at the exact frame where they appear in the camera frame and pause when they are no longer in the view and start animation again when they reappear in the camera view. or are you planning to introduce people walking through paths and turns at corners.
Even waiting to see spot lights, exterior bollard lights , street lights in night shots. You are doing great Lumion Smiley Smiley Keep up great developments. good luck.

No, at the moment the "Animate objects" effect only allows you to animate objects in straight lines from A to B for the full duration of the clip, regardless of whether they're inside the view frustrum of the camera or not.

They said somewhere around November-ish.   First of the year hopefully.

But that has also been retracted.   Officially there is not a release date set for Lumion 2.0.
Just somewhere in that very broad time-frame.

Not yet, but it obviously has to be released soon, so that the competition entries can be rendered with the latest version.

Hi Morten,
Is the latest build 8 already available as a the free version?  It still says build 7 on the download page.
I would like to render everything with the new build for the competition. 
The change regarding the shadow range from 1 to 2 , does that mean the distance for shadows  clipping gets doubled?

Hi Peter, Ferry has been busy working on some Lumion 2 features, so it's not yet available.

Hi Morten

One question, I usually use screenshot (using 2500x1900 screen) and don't need rendering in sketches process, what happens with origin axes displayed on the screen? is there any possibility to switch off or are always displayed before rendering?

(note: I'm still downloading the new version)

Excerpt from the ChangeList.txt (attached to the first post in this thread):
- The world origin (0,0,0) is now displayed when Settings -> Show Frames per Second is turned on.
