What do you guys think about the softwares you use.

What ive noticed is that the process from concepts to final model is way to hard and timeconsuming when it comes to the software parts of a project.

What do you guys think and how have you solved it?

We use Revit from conceptual design all the way thru construction documents.
Works great. It would be hard to find a better software for architecture. (Archicad guys may disagree.)  Wink

We use a combination of sketchup and revit.

I like the easy way of creating 3d in sketchup and the 2d tools in revit.

If revit got the same UI and 'feel' as sketchup, I'll go for revit all the way.

Sketchup and Lumion!  Nothing beats the speed and ease of use....couple these two pieces of software together and it is hands down the fastest and best quality you can get.

We use Revit and sketchup models - then modify in 3DS Max if needed.  You have to get good at these programs to get best results - that takes years.
