I am having to re-installe my opertaing System. Ughhhhh

So I need to know if the Lumion 2.21 EXE file I have,  will still  re-install lumion Ultimate, once I do all the transfers?


 Please say "No problems"

Hi Rashad, that's no problem

Just remember to de-activate Lumion before re-installing Windows.

You should also consider downloading Lumion 2.5 - your Lumion ULTIMATE license will work fine for both 2.2.1 and 2.5.

I must understand that if I don't disactivate lumion before reinstalling windows, Lumion don't work anymore. . But for example if I have a crash of the system, what happens with Lumion. You have the posibilité to reactivate lumion otherwise.

In this case, the Lumion Team can deactivate your license in the background and you can activate it again. An understandable desire on their end that you should do this for yourself on your computer when you are able to however. I've seen them do this server side deactivation even in cases when someone forgot to deactivate it at work but wanted to use it at home during the week-end though so they are helpful it appears.

 Well, after the instal to 2.5, now I can't access any of my scenes made.

How do I get my files/scenes back in sync?

I guess I should do a qick search on the subject, Im sure I have seen this come up on the forum before

Hi Rashad, just double-checking but you hopefully remembered to make backups of your saved scenes and imported models before re-installing Windows, right?

If so, you just need to copy-paste the backups of your scenes and imported models to the right folder on new harddrive - see "WHERE ARE MY LUMION PROJECTS AND IMPORTED MODELS SAVED?" in the Tips, Tricks and Shortcuts thread:
