The other formats are VRML amd POV.  They are due to release anew version this summer so maybe they will offer more options.  I HOPE!

Well I cannot do Collada and DWG is not that good.  In the 3DS I get better results but still problems.

I have changed some materials in patio doors and windows to glass but it does not seem to take on all of them.  WHen I go back and try to change it the windows just highlight in red but nothing happens.  I cannot get them to be glass. 

Also, I have a deck railing that only has spindles on some sections but not all.  They ARE in the original CHief Architect plan I export to 3DS but don't seem to be coming across.

(ADMIN: Moved this thread to the Importing section)

I use program called Chief Architect to do my projects.  I see that some materials come across in Lumion and some do not.  I have only tried 3DS file type so far.  Is there a preferred file type that works better?

I currently have the free version.  Is there a way in this versionor paid version to copy materials that were imported with the model and apply them to other area?
