The movie also works well from a functional perspective because it provides a clear view of the subject and in the end really helps selling the idea. The pacing is pleasant and the overall impact of the movie is memorable because it combines beautiful shots with images that really communicate some of the design elements very well. The bookcase for example is something people will remember after watching this movie.
Great looks, great subject, great execution and great skill are what makes this movie the winner of the Lumion 2011 competition.

The overall setup of the movie is great because it shows so many designs at a speed just enough to keep things interesting without making the movie chaotic.
If you look at all the individual movies you can see there is so much variety and quality in this movie it is almost unbelievable and that is why this movie deserves the second place.

When you look at the small bridge extending to the terrace on the island you cannot help yourself dreaming about one day living in a house like this.
The camerawork is very well done and some of the shots very successfully enhance the image of an already great looking design and that is why this movie wins this year’s third place.
